seaward
Before I forget, I read Susan Cooper's Seaward the other day and liked it very much. It's pretty different from her Dark is Rising sequence, despite the similar vein of Celtic mythology. Actually, I liked Seaward better. It's a quick-read (<200pp), so I highly recommend it to anybody who's ever liked children's fantasy.

I read the who Dark is Rising series years ago, and just reread the first book recently, too. Good stuff. I never did read Seaward, though. I'll have to check that out.
