Well, it would say more to me if Neil Gaiman wrote the whole book, rather than just the introduction. But if he approves it, that's cool. I'd say it looks intriguing, so thanks for mentioning it (I hadn't seen it before).
Did you ever get around to reading this? I just finished it. Not quite what I was expecting, but it had a certain charm to it, once I got into it. Pretty quick reading, so definitely worth it.
